We all need some help to when it comes to creating the perfect wedding day.

I've been performing at weddings for a long time now and I like to think I know a bit about creating a great wedding day. The same applies to Private Parties and Corporate Events too.

That's why I started this blog. To provide advice and help from someone who attends these events all the time. The problem is, some people start websites with very little or no experience in that field. This week we are going to take a look at the best websites from people who know what they are talking about, when it comes to planning a wedding day.

In no particular order:

1) http://www.brides.com/

The sheer amount of information on this website can make it overwhelming on it's own but if you know what you are looking for this website can become a Godsend!

2) http://www.bridesmagazine.co.uk/

This website is so well laid out it is impossible to get lost in it! Again, it has got tonnes of information within its pages and is well worth a quick look. You can easily find what you are looking for if you're looking for something specific, or if you have a spare 5 minutes that can easily turn into 5 hours with some of the goldmines hidden within their pages.

3) http://www.youandyourwedding.co.uk/

It's difficult to find a good quality wedding blog that is based in the UK but the next two definetly fit into that category. You and Your Wedding is a fantastic UK based wedding website that will help you find a venue, provide you with planning tips, and even talk about real weddings.

4) http://www.rockmywedding.co.uk/

Much like the last one, the main draw of Rock My Wedding is the 'Real Weddings' section of the website. It's hard to find a blog that focuses on what real weddings are like and spend too much time in fantasy land. There's nothing wrong with fantasy land and we all need something to aspire to but you also need to know what works for real people at real weddings.

5) http://www.lovemydress.net/

Again, a useful 'Real Weddings' page in Love My Dress is great but where Love My Dress really shines is in its 'Stylebook' section. With a name like Love My Dress, you'd expect nothing less though! With styles to find all different tastes and budgets, you'll be sure to get a great idea from this website.

6) http://www.soyouregettingmarried.com/

The shining light for So You're Getting Married is the way the website is laid out. It's so easy to use and find exactly what you're after you'll wonder why all websites aren't like that! Super easy to navigate means that whatever you need it's only a click away. A wonderfully laid out 'Real Weddings' section mean that you can find a wedding based on budget, location or theme. Superb stuff!

7) http://www.theluxurymagician.com/

You can't be that surprised can you? I had to include my own. With the blog section of this website focusing on providing value for people planning events I attend, that includes weddings. At the bottom of this blog post it will say 'posted in...' if you select the 'wedding' option it will then show you all my posts about weddings and wedding planning.

Anyway, I hope you've found this useful, let me know in the comments below if you use any and if there are any you would add to this list.

All the best,
